The one day workshop on Soil Description is designed to teach graduate geologists and engineers working in the geotechnical and geo-environmental industries how to describe soils in accordance with BS5930: 2015 and European Standards. The workshop will comprise a series of lectures and practicals. The Speaker is Chris Eccles a director of TerraConsult and engineering geologist with 28 years’ experience of ground investigation and assessment of contaminated land with specialist knowledge in a wide range of geotechnical and chemical testing methods. He has been lecturing on soil and rock description for ten years. This is an updated course incorporating the changes introduced into BS5930:2015 when it was issued last summer. This is an Endorsed Training and CPD course.
